27 4 月 Fairmont酒店High Tea
話說呢餐High Tea原本係朋友J同我慶祝我生日嘅﹐但因為我同佢上個月都忙到飛起﹐所以就延期到成個月後嘅星期日先去
日麥包同我講話佢有兩個同事去咗High Tea喎﹐咁我先知原來Fairmont Hotel係有嘅。真係好多謝朋友J陪我去
。
話就話係High Tea﹐但係時間方面真係有D怪﹐竟然係中午十二點到兩點半﹐傳統嘅High Tea最早都三點或三點半先開始啦﹐呢個果然係美式High Tea﹐怪怪地
。
Fairmont係間好古典嘅五星酒店﹐High Tea就係喺間叫Georgian嘅餐廳入面。Georgian樓底好高(其實Fairmont入面間間餐廳嘅樓底都好高)﹐檯與檯之間有好多空間﹐坐係入面真係好relax㗎(右圖)。

有嘢食啦~﹗左圖嘅係我同朋友J都order埋一樣嘅【Cherry Rose】- 玫瑰花茶。因為佢係綠茶底﹐所以好清淡﹐加埋玫瑰花香﹐我同朋友J都覺得好正
。右圖嘅係當日嘅三層西餅﹑鹹點。


最上層係【Sweets】- 甜品﹔中間嗰層就係【Finger Sandwiches】- 迷你三文治小食

而下層就係【Scones】- 唔知中文係咩﹖


呢到嘅【House-Made Cherry Pinenut Scones】外脆內軟﹐搽埋佢哋嘅【Devonshire Cream & Strawberry Preserves】(左圖)真係好好味﹐我覺得係成個High Tea最美味嘅。
【Balsamic Goat Cheese and Asparagus with Tomato Chutney on Rosemary Bread】
可能我唔食Goat Cheese啦﹐覺得佢有好大嘅羊騷味﹐所以真係唔岩我﹐但朋友J就覺得OK囉。

【Chicken, Bacon, and Potato Salad on Wheat Bread】好好味喎
。

【Cucumber and Kumquat Brioche】唔係好食到咩味﹖比較淡。

【Smoked Salmon and Truffled Egg Salad on Rye Bread】
好特別﹐就咁睇仲以為係甜嘅添﹔三文魚同Egg Salad好夾。

【Seasonal Fresh Fruit Tart】係今次最好味嘅甜品﹐因為係最唔甜死人嗰個。

【Pistachio French Macaron】我冇諗過呢個macaron會好似Pierre Hermé嘅咁好食﹐但估唔到真係咁甜﹐
。
【Chocolate Devil’s Cupcake】都係一樣﹐超甜
﹗

【Pineapple Coconut Bar】呢個好D﹐比較起嚟唔算太甜﹐但都係偏甜。

對於Fairmont嘅High Tea﹐我覺得係不過不失啦﹐好壞參半。可能係我食唔慣美式嘅”甜到漏”甜品啦﹐我諗對美國人嚟講會係唔錯嘅。
嘻嘻﹐今年11月返香港嘅時侯想去High Tea呀~﹗唔知邊個得閒陪我去呢
﹖仲有﹐唔知邊到好食呢﹖

Btw, just wondering, are you talking <br />
about "Clipper Lounge" in "Mandarin <br />
Oriental文華東方" or "Mo Bar" <br />
in "Landmark Mandarin Oriental置地文華東<br />
方"? Either one works for me as "Clipper <br />
Lounge" has the strawberry rose petal <br />
jam whereas "Mo Bar" seems to offer more <br />
items for high tea…yum yum…~
